Biography
Zhang Xin is a female artist, painter, and ballet dancer. She lives and works between Barcelona and Beijing.
She holds a degree in Fine Arts from Beijing University and a Master’s degree in “Research in Art and Design” from the Barcelona Autonomous University – EINA.
She is a member of the China Great Wall Art Foundation and a featured artist in New York Art magazine. She is currently a very active painter and sketcher in Barcelona, Spain.
Zhang Xin collaborates with prestigious brands such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Versace, Mercedes-Benz, and the Bank of China. As a prominent artist in China, her paintings were published in 2024 to illustrate official stamps. Her recent artworks have been exhibited in Barcelona, including at Angle Gallery. She was also selected as a finalist for the Art Prize of European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in 2024.
She has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia, exhibiting her work internationally and exchanging ideas with artists, curators, choreographers, and institutions from different countries. These rich experiences motivate her to continue researching and experimenting.
Her painting style is characterized by the use of delicate yet rich colors, bold yet informal, ingenious yet rigorous, her art works are artistic story-telling. Her inspiration comes from social life and nature, as well as from her life, work, and stays abroad.
As a contemporary female artist, Zhang Xin inspires and promotes the interaction and exchange of Chinese art, culture and Western art, culture, and serves as a guideline and central idea to perfect her art style.

张欣，艺术家。生活，工作往返于中国北京和西班牙巴塞罗那。1982 年出生于中国北京。她从小学习美术、舞蹈、文学和钢琴。2005 年毕业于北京林业大学，艺术与设计学院。为了追求她的艺术生涯，2022 年，她进入了巴塞罗那自治大学与 EINA 艺术与设计学院，攻读艺术与设计研究的文学硕士学位。张欣是一位具有跨越多学科，艺术经历丰富的艺术家、画家和芭蕾舞爱好者。
张欣是中国长城艺术基金会会员、中国长城美术家协会会员、纽约艺术杂志艺术家、SAATCHIART 艺术家。2024 年，张欣以中国当代艺术名家的身份，绘画作品发行到了“庆祝中华人民共和国成立 75 周年”的大型文献类珍藏邮册。 在设计方面，曾与盛世长城 4A广告公司、范思哲、中国银行、梅赛德斯－奔驰等知名品牌合作。张欣自 10 岁开始跟从中国美术家协会的老师学习中国工笔国画，白描，写意国画，参加中国与亚洲的绘画大赛，并屡次获奖。后来怀着开拓艺术道路的愿望，她接触了西方艺术的素描与色彩，爱上了油画。2016 年展开了她的欧洲艺术之旅，花大量时间沉浸在博物馆，美术馆和画廊，学习大师的画作，自学了油画。
目前，她正在准备她的展览；做她的艺术项目；同时，在巴塞罗那开展绘画工作坊的课程；与知名品牌合作绘画与设计。张欣喜爱参加社区艺术活动；积极参与欧洲美术馆与市政府举办的绘画比赛；策划文化艺术交流项目，促进中国艺术与西方艺术的交流，是一位很活跃的当代现实主义女性画家，艺术家。
多年来她游历欧洲、亚洲，大大小小的博物馆、美术馆、艺术社区，与来自不同国家的艺术家、策展人和文化艺术机构交流思想和创作观点。这些丰富的经历是她艺术创作旅途中的灵感源泉，也是进一步学习艺术、实验艺术、研究艺术的动力。同时，她热爱观察自然，张欣的座右铭“我的灵感来自自然，然后略家夸张一些”。她热爱旅游和舞蹈艺术，也喜欢体验不同国家的艺术氛围和文化。
张欣自己独特的绘画风格自然形成——色彩细腻丰富，大胆随意，诙谐严谨。传达思想与愿景的现实性，引发思考。她的创作灵感来源于对自然的描绘和表达，也来源于她的生活、旅行经历和海外生活。作为当代女性艺术家，张欣启发和推动了中国艺术、文化与西方艺术、文化的互动与交流，并作为完善其艺术风格的指导思想和中心思想。她的艺术宣言是“反映自然和生活的艺术表达，通过绘画进行视觉效果的艺术创作”。
